ALBANY - Fourth-graders from Albany took part in the Food for America event sponsored by the Brodhead FFA program on Sept. 22. The event took place at the Spring Grove Dairy just outside of Brodhead.

Participating students from area districts were divided into groups that moved through stations. Stations included Wisconsin food crops, honey bees, animal care and nutrition, hunting/ trapping and a visit to the milking parlor.

A lunch of sub sandwiches, vegetables, chips and an ice cream treat was provided.
