MONROE — In June of 2018, a group of 14 students from Albany, Monticello, and Juda traveled to Italy for an educational experience. The itinerary included: Venice, Florence, Rome, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri. The goal of the tour was providing the students with an opportunity to interact with other cultures.
Students agreed that it was a fun experience where they met new people and understood the value of travel. Past trips have included a European capital tour of Dublin, London and Paris as well as a Marine Conservation service tour in the Dominican Republic.
The next tour is scheduled for June 2019 and will be a 10-day grand tour of Ireland and Scotland.
