ALBANY - Elementary students danced to raise money for Gary Armitage's liver transplant on April 25.
Armitage has been affiliated with the school district for many years.
The elementary students bought entrance into the dance-a-thon. If the student wanted to bring a friend, they could pay an additional fee. Donations were also accepted. Many teachers contributed so that every child who wanted to was able to participate in dancing.
Brian Flannery provided the music. Students danced for a half an hour.
The event raised $408.
