MONROE - Taylor Kernen, a third-grader at New Glarus school, will attend the National American Miss Pageants after successfully scoring in the Casual Wear Model and Next Top Model events.
Kernen, daughter of Tiffany Wiser-Bell of Monroe, will participate in the pageant, held during Thanksgiving week in Disneyland, Anaheim, Calif.
The National American Miss Pageants awards $1.5 million in cash, scholarships and prizes and assist the development of young women. Pageants are held in each state for girls, ages four to 18, in five different age divisions. For more information, visit www.namiss.com.
