FREEPORT - Nineteen Highland Community College student-athletes were named to the 2016-2017 Arrowhead Conference Academic Excellence Team.

Academic Excellence selections must have completed at least 12 credit hours per semester while achieving a 3.0 GPA or above.

Area students earning the honor were Daniel Skoumal, Juda, for baseball, and Hannah Bollen, Orangeville, and Rachael Wybourn, Lena, for softball.
