MCCONNELL, Ill. - The annual McConnell Strawberry Social, sponsored by the McConnell Area Historical Society, will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at the McConnell United Methodist Church Hall, 211 N. Hulbert Road.
The menu will include pork chop sandwiches, barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, coney dogs, potato salad, baked beans, cheese, homemade pie, cake, beverages and strawberries and ice cream. Carry-outs are available.
The event is open to the public.
