Stormont Family Scholarship recipients announced

DARLINGTON — Lafayette Hospital + Clinics (LHC) is proud to announce the 2025 recipients of the Stormont Family Scholarship: Aiden Dempsey-Strang, son of Dixie Dempsey and Todd Strang (attending UW-LaCrosse), and Danick Haesler, son of Lisa Byl (attending Southwest WI Technical College). 

This is a very special scholarship that recognizes the dedication and hard work of all Lafayette Hospital + Clinics employees. Eligibility for the scholarship is any graduating high school senior, (including those receiving a GED) with a parent or guardian currently employed at Lafayette Hospital + Clinics. It is open to anyone seeking further education and/or healthcare experience, whether college bound, enrolling in technical school, or going directly into employment at a health care facility in our community.  Preference will be given to those with volunteer experience, participation in an organized service club and/or extracurricular activities, and/or history of part time health care related employment.
