

STOCKTON — Join the Stockton Heritage Museum on Tuesday, Sept. 16, for a special presentation by Tom Clay, Director of Special Projects for the Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation (JDCF), and discover how JDCF protects and stewards land and water for the lasting well-being of people and wildlife alike.
“Conserving the Driftless Area in Jo Daviess County for Over 30 Years,” will take place on Tuesday, September 16 at the Stockton Heritage Museum, 107 West Front Street, Stockton, IL, at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to all audiences.
Explore the beauty of the Driftless Area through a virtual tour of over 1,500 acres managed by JDCF — open and free to the public for hiking, birding, and outdoor recreation.
A proud Jo Daviess County native, Tom Clay graduated from Stockton High School in 1979 and Western Illinois University in 1983. His career spans leadership roles with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, the Illinois Audubon Society, and the Door County Land Trust.
