Stietz team earns trophy for BBBS effort

The Stietz team of Big Brother Paul, Big Sister Lori, Little Brothers Ryan and Connor, won the first Community trophy by raising $345 which is 151 percent more than they raised last year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Green Countys Bowl for Kids Sake.
MONROE - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Green County announces a successful Bowl for Kids' Sake with 101 teams and $86,000 raised. The community supports local youth mentoring through this event.

The Division competition is new this year. The Stietz team of Big Brother Paul, Big Sister Lori, Little Brothers Ryan and Connor won the first Community trophy. They raised $345 which is 151 percent more than they raised last year.

Team recognition to those who raised the highest amounts includes: the Bone Crushers from Monroe Clinic for the fifth year; Kuhn Knight first time team from Brodhead; Monroe High School for the fourth year; and Jack Link's Beef Jerky for the eighth year. Monroe Lions took the Service Club award for the ninth year.

Big Brothers Big Sisters helps children reach their potential through professionally supported one-to-one relationships. They support community mentors and five school programs.
