MONROE - The "Enjoy the Present" luncheon, sponsored by Stateline Women's Connection and Stonecroft Ministries, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 at Peppercorn Banquets at Ludlow Mansion, 1417 Mansion Drive.
The price is $9 and includes lunch, tax, tip and program.
The luncheon features Katy Dickson, Christensen's Farm CSA, who will speak on her family's venture offering a variety of vegetables and berries grown without chemicals. She will also explain what Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is and how it benefits local agriculture.
The speaker of the event is Debbie Solis, Rock Island, Ill., who will speak on "The Best Gift Ever." Solis is a dental hygienist, twin, wife and stepmom. She talks about how she left her "best gift ever" on a shelf and chose to go her own way.
