MONROE — The annual State Line Home Expo, featuring local businesses in home, garden and leisure activities, will take place April 1-2 at the SLICE Arena in Monroe, 1632 4th Avenue West. 

There will be 45 businesses featured. The event is free and will be full of fun for the entire family. Doors are open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The event is put on by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce. 

There will be beer, wine and cheese samples from local vendors. Monroe Kiwanis is sponsoring family activities, like reading with local police officers, getting their picture taken with the Easter Bunny, buying Girl Scout Cookies and meeting Toodles and her SSM Hospice Dog Friends. 

Another sponsor, KC’s Landscaping, will have other family activities, including build and plant flower boxes, pour paint rocks with Evey, color, sticker fun and games.  

Concessions will support Monroe Area Youth Hockey.
