Star Wars Day Invades the Square
Paisley and Jessie Bennett, daughters of Mike and Catrina Bennett, stand with a life-size replica of the “Star Wars” droid, R2D2, which Mike Bennett made for Jessie, a fan of the epic movies. It took one 1 1/2 years to build and it lights up, makes sound, the head spins and the arms move. He is working on making it walk also.
Stars Wars on the Square was the theme the evening of July 13 on Monroe’s Square.
