St. John’s UCC to host Baked Potato Supper

MONROE — St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1724 14th Street, will hold a Baked Potato Supper on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14, at the church. Serving will be from 4 to 7 p.m. in the church’s Fellowship Hall.

The supper will include a baked potato, toppings, fruit salad, roll, beverage and dessert.

Children age 3 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the door or by calling the church office at 608-325-2165. Carry outs and drive through service will be available. Proceeds from the event will go to the Youth Fellowship Summer Work trip.

Following the dinner, a joint Ash Wednesday service with the congregation of Union Presbyterian Church, will be held at 7 p.m. in the St. John’s Sanctuary. The Rev. Stacy Cavanaugh of Union Presbyterian will give the sermon.

The public is invited to attend.
