MONROE - On Ash Wednesday, Feb. 25 St. John's United Church of Christ, Monroe, will hold its annual baked potato supper from 4 to 7 p.m. in Fellowship Hall of the church. The community is invited to be a part of this event with proceeds supporting the Mission Ministry of the church. St. John's is handicapped accessible.
The meal will include many toppings for the potato, a fruit cup, dessert and a beverage. Hot dogs and chips are an option for children.
The price of the meal for adults is $6; $4 for children age 4-10. Cildren age 3 and under are free.
Carryouts and a drive-through service are available. Pre-orders may be made by calling the church office at 325-2165.
