Spring luncheon set for Saturday

WIOTA - The women of the Wiota ELCA will host their annual spring salad luncheon Saturday at Wiota Lutheran Church.

Doors open at 8:45 a.m. The Wiota WELCA Troup will start the entertainment at 9:30 a.m. The Black Hawk Forensics team will perform, and author and illustrator Nikki Cooper will read from her children's book, "Johnny McGree and His Sweet Purple Pants." Cooper will have books for sale and will be signing them after the program.

Lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m. The cost is $7 per person; children under 7 are free.
