SOUTH WAYNE - Any child who will be age 4 on or before Sept. 1 is eligible to attend 4K at Black Hawk schools. Screening dates for 4K are Monday, April 7 and Tuesday, April 8.
Any child who turns age 5 on or before Sept. 1 is eligible for 5-year kindergarten. Screening dates are Wednesday, April 9 and Thursday, April 10.
Call the elementary office, (608) 439-5444, the week of March 3 to sign up for one of the sessions.
There are a limited number of children in each session. On the day of screening, bring the child's birth certificate, social security number and immunization records to verify birth date and legal name.
