MONROE - Monroe Sons of Norway lodge will hold a movie night at 6:30 p.m. April 13 at the Crossroads Church in Monroe, formerly Baker's restaurant, 222 Old Argyle Road.
The movie will be "Finding Thea," the story that inspired the "Tugboat Annie" stories. It was the classic immigrant success story, where a poor immigrant ends up starting one of the largest tugboat companies in history.
Popcorn and other snacks will be served. Guests are always welcome and may bring a beverage. Come early to visit, enjoy the movie and meet some new Scandinavian friends.
