MONROE - The Monroe Sons of Norway Ostestaden Lodge will hold its annual Syttende mai (Norwegian Independence Day) celebration potluck at 6:30 p.m. May 12 at the Union Presbyterian Church in Monroe.
Members are asked to take a dish to pass and table service. The entertainment will be by the two foreign exchange students living in Monroe this year. Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. with the meeting and program to follow.
Guests are invited to attend and try out the organization.
