MONROE - Monroe Sons of Norway Lodge will meet for its annual picnic at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 at Northeast Park. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Those who attend should bring a dish to pass and their own table service. In the case of bad weather, the group will meet in at Union Presbyterian Church.

The event is open to the public.
