MONROE — Monroe Sons of Norway lodge will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 13 to celebrate the midsummer eve with a potluck, bonfire and Scandinavian music. 

The event will be held at the home of lodge member Sheri Novak. Bring a dish to pass, a lawn chair, a flashlight and a friend or two. There will be entertainment including Hardanger fiddle music and Scandinavian stories from Inna Larsen. Anyone interested in Scandinavian culture who wants to celebrate the longest day of the year with food, friends and a bonfire is welcome.
