Abraham Lincoln Elementary School in Monroe has been hosting a food drive as a part of the student council’s annual “Service Project.”

Each year Abe’s student council votes on an organization to donate to in order to benefit the surrounding community.

This year, Abe Lincoln students donated a total of 736 pounds of food goods to benefit the Green County Food Pantry located in Monroe.
