Sept. 17-24 is Constitution Week in Monroe

Monroe Mayor Louis Armstrong signed a proclamation stating that Sept. 17 to 24 is to be Constitution Week.

In the proclamation, the Mayor asks the citizens of Monroe to reaffirm the ideals the framers of the constitution had in 1787. He also encourages people to display the United States flags to honor this special week and to continue flying their flag throughout the year.
