FREEPORT — The Senior Resource Center announced the launch of Tech Time, a new series of technology classes designed specifically for older adults. The sessions will be led by Ed Alderman, owner of The Computer Tutor, who brings years of experience teaching people how to use technology with ease and confidence.
The goal of Tech Time is to give older adults the tools and confidence they need to better utilize technology in their daily lives. From learning how to navigate computers and tablets to making the most of iPads, iPhones, and Android devices, these sessions will provide practical, hands-on guidance.
“Technology doesn’t have to be intimidating,” said Amanda Faivre, Executive Director of the Senior Resource Center. “These classes are designed to make learning simple, approachable, and even fun. Our goal is to help older adults feel empowered to use the devices that connect them to family, friends, and the world.”
All classes will be held at Senior Resource Center Activity Room, 206 E. Stephenson Street, Freeport. Sessions are free of charge, but space is limited and advance registration is required. Participants are asked to bring their own devices.
To register, call the Senior Resource Center at 815-235-9777 or email awalker@srcntr.org
