Sen. Schultz to visit Darlington on Monday

MADISON - Senator Dale Schultz will be in Benton, Shullsburg, Darlington and Dodgeville on Monday, March 9. Schultz welcomes community members to join him at stops during the day.

He will have lunch in Benton from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the senior meal site in the VFW building on Main Street. To arrange to join him for lunch, call the meal site manager Marion Calvert at (608) 759-6671.

Schultz will meet with City Clerk Marsha Einsweiler and law enforcement officers from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the Shullsburg Municipal Building in Shullsburg.

In Darlington, he will participate in a Lafayette County Law Enforcement Roundtable meeting from 2 to 3:30 p.m. with Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen, community leaders and law enforcement agents, at the Darlington Municipal Building, 627 Main Street.

In Dodgeville, Schultz will meet with Iowa County Highway Commissioner Craig Hardy and recently retired Highway Commissioner Leo Klosterman from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. at the Iowa County Highway Department, 1215 Bequette St. (Wis. 23).

The senator will join Iowa County leaders working to keep and attract good paying jobs in the county for supper from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Country Kitchen in Dodgeville. Rick Terrien, director of the Iowa County Economic Development Corporation is handling the arrangements for the Dutch treat dinner (608) 930-2000.

Schultz will end his day with the Iowa County Farm Bureau President John Meyers at the group's monthly membership meeting at 401 N. Union Street
