JUDA - Joey Jordan, member of Troop 105 and son of Kurt and Tina Jordan of Juda, will be holding a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at the Juda Community Center.

The event is to help raise funds for building a veterans' memorial, which Jordan hopes to build at the Juda-Mount Vernon cemetery as part of his Eagle Scout project.

The breakfast is an all-you-can-eat event. The cost for the breakfast is $5 for adults and $3 for children. There will also be crafts available, with proceeds going toward the project.

Jordan, a junior at Juda High School, chose this project when he realized the lack of symbolic representation for veterans at the Juda Memorial Day services.

His project includes landscaping work surrounding a stone stating "In Honor of All Veterans" and flags representing all branches of the military. With the help of his family and Boy Scout troop, he hopes to finish the project by Memorial Day this year.

Anyone interested in supporting the veterans' memorial project but unable to attend the breakfast can send donations to: Joey Jordan-Eagle Scout Project, N1010 County S, Juda, WI 53550.
