WHITEWATER - Calli Matzke of Juda, a choral and general music education major, is the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Foundation Scholar award winner. She has a 3.98 grade point average and is involved in the Collegiate Music Educators National Conference, Student National Association of Teachers of Singing, Warhawk Ambassadors and the Golden Key Honor Society. After graduation she plans to teach middle school or high school choir, or elementary general music classes. Matzke also plans to direct a church or community choir and be active in community theatre.
To qualify, students must have good academic standing and have at least a 3.0 GPA, be currently enrolled and taking at least 12 academic credits.
