Scott and Mary Schmidt, Monroe, are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary.
They were married on Aug. 6, 1977 at St. Victor Catholic Church, Monroe.
They have three children: Melisa Schmidt, Monroe; Michele (Michael) Marcangelo, Elgin, Ill.; and Samantha Schmidt, Madison. The couple has one grandchild, Matthew Marcangelo.
