MONROE — Area children who want to make sure their wishes are known to Old St. Nick are invited to submit a letter to Santa Claus for publication in the Monroe Times’ “Letters to Santa” pages.

All letters also will be entered in a drawing for six $25 Monroe Money gift certificates. 

Children through age 12 are eligible to enter. Letters should include the child’s first and last name, age, address and telephone number. Published letters will include the child’s first and last name and age. Letters must be submitted by noon Dec. 6. Letters will be printed in a Dec. 18 special section insert as part of the Monroe Times.

Teachers submitting letters on behalf of their students should include the students’ first and last names, grade level and school.
