Here is another photograph of unknown youngsters with no names from one of the 120 one-room schools in Green County. These students are shown in front of the Rush School, which was located at N895 West River Road in Cadiz Township. The school also served students from Lafayette County. This photo was taken about 1953, but the school was located on property that was first leased from Henry Rush in 1872 for $40.
