MONROE - Green County Tourism Director Noreen Rueckert was recently elected to serve on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Ag Tourism Association.
The focus of the organization is to promote the rural lifestyle; foster partnership opportunities within the ag tourism community; and provide tools that encourage sustainable economic growth while creating awareness of Wisconsin agriculture.
Other board members representing various ag-tourism related entities from across the state include Kelly Murray of Tomah Convention and Visitor Bureau; Lorry Erickson of Erickson Productions in Warrens; Don Schuster of Schuster's Playtime Farm in Deerfield; Nodji Van Wychen of Wetherby Cranberry Company in Warrens; Carol Wiersma of Maiden Rock Apples and Maiden Rock Winery & Cidery; Ross Ament of Ament Associates in Poynette; and Christine Rebout of the Janesville Convention and Visitors Bureau.
