PRAIRIE DU CHIEN - Wisconsin Badger Camp announced it is the recipient of a donation from Roth Kase USA Ltd. of Monroe.
The donation of 15 to 20 pounds of cheese will help balance the increasing cost of food during the 2010 camp season.
"In-kind donations help in so many ways," said Brent Bowers, Wisconsin Badger Camp executive director. "Donations help keep our food costs low allowing more funds to become available to keep a trained dietitian on staff as well as further camp programs," Bowers said.
Roth Kase produces more than 75 varieties of cheese.
Wisconsin Badger Camp is an independent non-profit organization located approximately 10 miles south of Prairie du Chien and serves over 800 individuals with developmental disabilities each summer. Badger Camp relies on the community's time, talent, and financial assistance to provide for its campers.
