MONROE — Monroe mystery author Bill Ross has published his eighth book in the Monroe Mystery Series.
The book, titled “Swirling Shadows of Guilt,” is set in Monroe and chronicles the investigation of the murder of a Monroe Police Officer, Gregory Figi, 22 years ago. This cold case is a first for Detective Samantha Gates. Was an innocent man, Norman Munz, sent to prison for a murder he didn’t commit? As Gates and Police Captain Miller encounter a maze of faded memories and deceased witnesses during their inquiries, will they uncover the truth behind the possibility of a grave injustice? Will Norman Munz and his family find a certain justice clearing his name, and bring peace to the family?
Ross is writing this series of fictionalized books to lift up the Swiss culture and the quality of life shared in Monroe and Green County for tourism. The book is available for sale, in addition to the other seven books in the series, at the Monroe Chamber of Commerce. The popular series is also available at the National Historic Cheesemaking Center and on Amazon.
