WARREN - On May 22 and 23, a reunion of descendants of John and Margaret Hay will be held in Warren.
During the weekend, activities will be centered at the Warren Community House with tours to Elmwood Cemetery and the early Hay farms east of Warren.
The Hays immigrated from Aidrie, Scotland to Warren in 1850 with their five children, Agnes, Andrew, Cameron, Margaret and John. All of them except Agnes are buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Warren.
The history sharing will be based on a 1982 family history book of the John Hay family and a great-great-granddaughter of Agnes who went to Scotland to research the Hay family history before the 1850 immigration to Warren. Many stories with old pictures will be shared.
