MADISON — Rep. Todd Novak (Dodgeville) was selected by the Wisconsin Builders Association’s (WBA) Board of Directors as a “2022 Friend of Housing” award recipient. Brad Boycks, Executive Director, WBA, presented Rep. Novak with the award at the capitol. The award acknowledges Rep. Novak’s work during the 2021-22 legislative session to reduce the cost of housing for Wisconsin families. The Association’s Board meets every two years in order to select legislators to be honored with this designation.

“It’s an honor to receive this award from the Wisconsin Builders Association” said Novak. “This coming session I am going to continue working to reduce the cost of housing here in Wisconsin. In southwest Wisconsin, housing affordability continues to be linked to a lack of inventory. I will continue to advocate for common sense measures to make sure hardworking Wisconsinites can find housing at a reasonable price.”

The Wisconsin Builders Association is a trade association comprised of 21 local associations from across the state. They advocate for keeping housing accessible and affordable here in Wisconsin.
