ARGYLE — The Argyle Public Library’s Summer Reading Program hosts Raizes do Brasil at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13 at Argyle Legion Park, 14567 Wis. 78.

Raízes do Brasil (Roots of Brazil) Capoeira Madison practices Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art-dance in Madison, Wisconsin. It provides training on both the movement and musical parts of the art form and welcomes people of all abilities and ages. Capoeira brings in different Afro-Brazilian musical traditions and influences and was practiced throughout Brazil before spreading to all parts of the world, including to Africa, where it has roots. Roots of Brazil has a few schools in the U.S. and is also an international school, based out of Brazil. 

All are welcome to watch this unique and energetic program. Bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. Reading incentives, crafts and more. Be sure to check out the library for books and more fun activities.
