Public library to host 'Cool Movies'

MONROE - The Monroe Public Library will host Cool Movies for Hot Days, a free movie series for children and families, on Wednesday afternoons starting July 31 at the library, 925 16th Ave. One showing of each film is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Viewers can bring their own drinks and snacks along with quilts, bean bags or floor pillows so they can sit back and enjoy the show. The series will open on July 31 with "Wreck it Ralph," the famous video arcade bad guy who sets out to prove to everyone that he is indeed a true hero with a big heart.
