MONROE - Arts Wisconsin and the IMAGINE creative ecology initiative will hold a community meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, at the Monroe Arts Center. The purpose of this meeting is for people interested in their community's future to provide input and learn about the arts, arts education, creative economy, and "creative ecology" of the Capital Region, and how they can play a part in and benefit from a strong creative sector.
In this interactive session, participants will provide input and strengthen a growing network of individuals and organizations involved in the arts, business, education, government and politics who are committed to conversations, behaviors and actions that foster, sustain and advance the "creative ecology" in the nine-county Capital Region. The meeting will also feature information about issues, trends, ideas and programs in the arts and creative economy that impact the region.
The meeting will also provide information and resources for people and organizations in the region's communities to develop programs, services and opportunities that provide access to the arts, strengthen the local and regional creative economies, creatively enhance educational systems and enrich and enliven the region's communities and culture.
