MONROE - The Behring Senior Center will be holding a "Safety for Seniors" educational program at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at the center.
Attendees will learn how to detect and protect themselves from financial exploitation. Scams are occurring in Monroe and this program will explain how to recognize them and not fall prey.
The program is sponsored by Old National Bank; the Monroe Police Department also will be there.
