Pretzel City Brewfest hosts breweries and vistors Sept. 25

FREEPORT — Pretzel City Brewfest will be held Sept. 25, featuring over 150 craft beers from local and national breweries for tasting in a modern outdoor setting in downtown Freeport. Tickets can be purchased online through noon Friday, Sept. 24 at greaterfreeport.com/brewfest and also at the gate during the event.

Pretzel City Brewfest is a great event for residents and visitors who are 21 and older to socialize, be entertained with games and contests and enjoy food from local vendors. The event is open from 1-5:30 pm. 

Pre-event general admission tickets are $30 and include 20 tasting tickets, entry to the event and a souvenir tasting glass.

VIP tickets are only available pre-event for $60. VIP ticket holders receive 30 tasting tickets, one-hour early event entry at noon, access to special release beers, a Brewfest t-shirt, a special VIP cooler, swag bag, and access to the VIP lounge with complimentary food and additional seating. Additionally, VIP ticketholders will have the option to buy a discounted limited-edition Pretzel City Brewfest hoodie that is not available to the general public. The tickets are almost sold out.

General admission tickets are available at the door on September 25 for $40. VIP is unavailable for same-day purchase. People who do not plan to drink but serve as designated drivers are allowed to attend the event after purchasing a ticket for entrance of $10. 

“Brewfest is a fantastic event inviting residents and visitors from multiple states to enjoy a tremendous selection of beers and the great atmosphere of Downtown Freeport. Growler contests, large-scale beer pong for prizes, and delicious food vendors create a lively event for all,” said Brand Director Nicole Haas.
