ORANGEVILLE - The Orangeville school district will hold its annual preschool screening on April 28 at the Orangeville United Methodist Church.
The screening is for children who will be 3 years old by Sept. 1 and who are not eligible for kindergarten in 2017-18. It will determine which children are eligible for the 2017-18 PASS preschool program. All children will have their vision, hearing, motor and general development screened.
Space in the program is limited. Children who are not initially enrolled in the program will be put on a waiting list. A parent or guardian must accompany the child to the screening site. Call the Orangeville school office at 815-789-4613 to schedule an appointment for the screening.
Children ages 2 years, 9 months and younger may be screened by contacting Child and Family Connections at 815-297-2041 to schedule an appointment with the early intervention staff.
