Pop Factory Players present Rock of Ages

DARLINGTON — Darlington’s Pop Factory Players recently announced their upcoming production of Rock of Ages, the hit jukebox musical that takes audiences on a nostalgic journey through the 1980s rock scene. 

Featuring some of the greatest rock anthems of all time, this high-energy show will bring Hollywood to life at the Leona M. Havens Theatre in the Darlington High School. Opening weekend shows will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 and 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19. The following weekend will have 7 p.m. shows on Friday, Jan. 24, and Saturday, Jan. 25, plus a 1:30 p.m. show Sunday, Jan. 26.

Set in the heart of Los Angeles’ iconic Sunset Strip, Rock of Ages tells the story of a small-town girl and a city boy who find themselves chasing their dreams amidst the neon lights of a rock ‘n roll club. With an unforgettable soundtrack filled with the greatest hits of the ’80s, including songs by Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, and many more, this musical brings the music, the fashion, and the attitude of the era to life. With classic tunes, hilarious moments, and a whole lot of heart, Rock of Ages is sure to leave you singing and smiling all the way home!

Tickets will be $15 (plus fees) online at our.show/pfproa2025. If still available, tickets will be $18 at the door (cash or check only). Checks can be made out to Pop Factory Players.
