DARLINGTON — The Pop Factory Players recently announced their 2026 musical production: You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised) — a heartwarming, laugh-filled journey into the world of Charles Schulz’s iconic Peanuts comic strip. This beloved musical brings Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the rest of the gang to life through a series of playful vignettes and memorable songs, capturing the joys and struggles of childhood with charm and wit.
The 2026 show will be directed by Leona Havens, with Allison Taylor serving as assistant director and producer. Musical direction will be provided by Alaina Markham and Tim Durst, continuing Pop Factory Players’ tradition of high-quality, community-centered productions.
Open auditions for lead roles will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, in the Leona M. Havens Theatre at Darlington High School. Individuals aged 16 and older are encouraged to audition. For those not seeking a lead role, the production will also feature a small, choral-based ensemble.
