MONROE - The Monroe pool, along with First National Bank, will sponsor a "Pirates of the Caribbean" special event day from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 24.

There will be boat races, a gold dive, piñata, along with other games and prizes.

Concessions will including lemonade, ice cream sundaes and nachos.
