MONROE - A holiday open house will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 2810 6th St.
This Christmas party will feature the stories of "The Legend of the Poinsettia" and "How the Poinsettia Got Its Name" at noon and 2 p.m.
A red poinsettia will be given to the first three persons who attend.
In the dining room there will be cookies and apple cider and coloring books for children.
The small white church with the double red doors is located across from the Green County Highway Department near the beginning of Wisconsin 59. The event is open to the public.
