Players to stage 'Charlie Brown'

ORANGEVILLE - The Mighty Richland Players will stage "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" June 26 through 28 at the Mighty Richland Players Dessert Theater, located at the Masonic Lodge, 203 West High St. in Orangeville.

The play is produced by arrangement with Tams-Witmark Music Library, Inc.

The cast includes Sandy Sweitzer, Pearl City, as Sally; Amy Jo Beightol, Orangeville, as Snoopy; Craig Downing, Freeport, as Linus; Nick Krogull, Lena, as Charlie Brown; Mary Backus, Freeport, as Lucy; Sam Wool, Freeport, as Schroeder; and Glenda Adams, Orangeville, as Woodstock. The crew includes pianist Sheri Novak, Monroe; drummer Matt Ostergard, Orangeville; and choreographer Carolyn Mysliwiec, Stockton.

Kim McIver is the show's director. She has been seen in local area productions both on and off the stage, and has written and/or directed several shows for The Mighty Richland Players.

Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. June 26; at 1 and 7:30 p.m. June 27; and at 2 p.m. June 28.

Dessert will be offered during intermission, except for the June 27 show. Tickets are now on sale for $20 and include dessert, coffee, and hot cider. The 1 p.m. June 27 performance ticket price is $12 for both children and adults. For all dessert theater performances, tickets for children 12 and under are $15. Group prices are available.
