Chuck and Christy Herbst of Gratiot donated a International B Tractor to Cancer Fund to raise awareness. The Tractor was Purchased by John and Teresa Eisenmenger of Darien and with other local donations, a total of $10,200 was received. The Tractor was auctioned off by Mike Powers and Dan Powers, Sr. at Powers Auction Service in Browntown. Chuck and Christy said they wanted to do something special to raise awareness and would like to thank everyone that showed support. They said almost every family has been touched by cancer in some way, and that they live in an area that is a great community and has generous people.
