BROWNTOWN - Browntown Peace Church is having an English Tea Party starting at 3 p.m. July 12, on the church lawn.
Men can buy a recipe for a cake and bake the cake (with no help) to be judged by a judge from Perk's in Monroe. Some of the cakes will be auctioned off. The cost for the meal will be $5 with a 50 cent discount to all ladies wearing hats and dresses. The menu consists of English scones with cream and jam, party sandwiches and fancy cakes. Everyone is invited to join the fun.
