Emma Hall of Parkside Elementary plants a seedling and grows a smile.

MONROE — Parkside second graders in Toni Wellman’s class have been studying plant parts and what plants need to grow. The class participated in an exercise where they planted seedling to care for and test their knowledge about plant needs. 


Anna Kenny and Linda Nack’s third grade math group read the book Too Many Kangaroo Things to Do. The book helped students practice addition and multiplication facts by making Platypus Punch for Kangaroos birthday.
