MONROE — Summer is almost here and Monroe Parks & Recreation has a few openings in some upcoming programs.  

Boys T-Ball is for boys currently in 4K and 5K and will be on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:15 p.m. at Recreation Park from June 11-July 16. Registration deadline is May 13. Two volunteer coaches per team are needed.

Boys Coach Pitch Minor League is for boys currently in first and second grade and will be held at Recreation Park on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, June 11-July 17 (no games July 3). Registration deadline is May 13. Two volunteer coaches per team are needed.

Baseball with the Cheesemakers for boys currently in third through eighth grades will be held Monday, May 20 at high school ball diamond (rain site MHS gym) from 3:30-4:45 p.m. 

Lassie T-ball Softball is for girls currently in 4K and 5K and will be held at Twining Park East ballfield on Tuesdays from June 11-July 16 from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Registration deadline is May 13. Two volunteer coaches per team are needed.

Lassie Coach Pitch Softball is for girls currently in first and second grades and will be held at Twining Park East ballfield on Tuesdays from June 11 to July 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Registration deadline is May 13. Two volunteer coaches per team are needed.
