MONROE - Union Presbyterian Church will hold its annual Shrove Tuesday pancake supper from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the church, 2707 5th Street, Monroe.
Chuck Soddy has been mixing pancakes for Union Presbyterian Church for more than 41 years. Volunteers from the church provide manpower and womanpower for the event.
The menu includes all you can eat pancakes, sausage, cheese, applesauce and beverage. Carryouts and drive-up service is available. All proceeds benefit church mission projects.
Tickets for the supper are $6 for adults, $3 for children 3 to 12, children under age 3 eat free. Tickets may be purchased at the church office, from any member or at the door.
The youth will hold a bake sale with proceeds going to their summer mission trip. For more information, call the church office at 325-2519.
